The Center for Family Life Education (CFLE), a national leader in sexuality education, is celebrating its 30th year by hosting its first TWO-DAY Sex Ed Conference. This year’s conference features experts in the field of sexuality presenting 28 workshops about a variety of topics including sexuality and disability, sex and the media, how poverty affects learning, pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection prevention, gender and sexual orientation, healthy relationships, sexual violence, technology and more.
Keynote addresses will be delivered by sexuality education leaders and authors Leslie Walker-Hirsch, Paul Joannides, and Bill Taverner. Participants will engage in thoughtful round table discussions and enjoy watching dynamic sexuality educators compete for the title of Iron Sex Educator. Together, we will celebrate the career of Dr. Eva Goldfarb, recipient of the 2010 Golden Brick Award!
On Thursday evening, join us for a screening and discussion of Orgasm, Inc., “a powerful look inside the medical industry and the marketing campaigns that are literally and figuratively reshaping [women's] everyday lives around health, illness, desire — and that ultimate moment: orgasm.”
Whether you choose to attend one day or both, we hope to see you November 18 & 19 at the beautiful Imperia Conference Center in Somerset, NJ! Check out the conference topics and be sure to register early!
This year’s Sex Ed Conference will feature a hot new contest – the Iron Sex Educator competition!
