Becoming a Certified Sexuality Educator can be challenging and difficult to navigate. People often ask:

Consultation services are available for individuals seeking:
- Sexuality Educator certification from The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors or Therapists
- Sexologist certification from The American College of Sexologists
Supervision Hours
All individuals wishing to become AASECT certified Sexuality Educator’s must complete Twenty five hours of supervision from a certified sexuality educator as deemed through AASECT.
Supervision includes:
- Development of an educational/learning philosophy;
- Curriculum and syllabus development;
- Direct observation of teaching/training activities;
- Discussion and development of pedagogic styles and strategies
Ms. Andelloux will review and evaluate the applicant’s academic preparation, professional experience, and educational/facilitation skills.
Through the provision of a sexuality education program developed and implemented by the applicant, Ms. Andelloux will seek to determine the applicant’s ability to:
- Assess educational needs
- Define goals and objective
- Match teaching strategies with proposed outcomes
- Design and effectively use instruments which assess the performance (knowledge, behavior, attitude changes) of program participants and program effectiveness;
- Utilize evaluation feedback
- Apply educational research findings
- Access and use other human and material resources
- Implement and effectively utilize educational methodologies which address the cognitive and affective dimensions of sexuality
Consultation fees are 50.00 an hour.
