•The “Menstrual Party” takes 3 hours to set up and 2 hours to take down. This time needs to be worked into renting space for the party. For example, if you want the party to start at 6 and go till 9, the room needs to be reserved from 3-11.
•14 Large sized tables must be provided.
•Large amounts of wall space are needed.
•3-4 TV/VCR/DVD’s will be needed for media aids.
•Tape and/or tacks will be needed to keep items on the walls. Please make sure the space provided can accommodate these needs.
•Megan will bring 3-5 hundred dollars worth of goods for raffles. Please make sure to advertise this!
•Make Vulva Friendly pins! Tampon Pom-Pom’s! Create a T-shirt! Eat from Maxi-Pad cookies and the Vulva Cake!
•The party is very interactive and ideal for Sociology/Psychology/Human Sexuality and Women’s Study courses. Ask the Professor to grant class credits for attendance!
