It does not matter which type, the only way that HIV or other STI's can transmit through the microwavable saran wrap is if the microwave is ON. I don't care how turned on you get, you're body will never reach that temp. So, whatever type you have, works as a great barrier for oral/genital, oral/anal contact. I've heard from many sources that microwavable saran wrap is not effective because it has pores to let steam through when microwaving food.
